Jose Rico has been playing the drums since he was 12 years old. He is now a professional musician with more than 15 years of experience, playing different styles (Jazz, Be- bop, Rock, Pop, Reggae, R & B, Latin, Samba, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, African Grooves, etc). He has travelled, studied, taught and performed in different countries, always trying to expand his knowledge and experiences, to translate them later into music.

He has a superior technique as a jazz musician and has studied with great drum masters such as Daniel “Pipi” Piazzolla, Carlos Carli, Marcelo Blanco, Alberto Cabello and musicians like Carlos Lastra and Osvaldo Burucúa.

He has also recorded studio albums, touring various countries in Europe and South America, and has participated in numerous musical projects. Jose has been the leader of two jazz quartets between 2016-2019. He studied at the ‘Sindicato Argentino de Músicos’ (SADEM) in Buenos Aires for four years.
